Meet Your Teacher…
Hello! Thank you so much for being here!
My name is Elizabeth, I am the founder of Source Projects and have been a Squarespace fanatic for the past 14 years…(😱!) I have been building websites since 2007 and working on Squarespace since a time before most people heard of it! I’ve created dozens and dozens of customised Squarespace websites for clients over the years and I am so excited to share my knowledge and bag of Squarespace design and customisation tricks with you.
While Squarespace has evolved to become a novice-friendly platform, there can still be a difference between a Squarespace website created by an amateur and one created by a professional. With this course, I hope to help you gain confidence and ace the skill of Squarespace web design and bridge the gap between creating a site that looks homemade and one that exudes professional polish.
Some Notes About Me…
I was born in England and grew up between Canada and Ireland.
After completing a degree in English and French Literature in Dublin in 2003, I moved to London where I studied Fashion Design at London College of Fashion and Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication.
I started my first business - an online shopping guide - when I was 25. It was because of this business and a lack of funding that I taught myself how to code and ended up getting into web design, marketing and content creation.
To support my entrepreneurial endeavours, I taught English as a Foreign language to hundreds of students from all over the world during my 20s in London.
I am passionate about all things design-related and have found myself gravitating more and more towards architecture and interior design as I get older.
I started producing electronic music and djing when I was 33 and I used to run a techno night called SOURCE in London. (My artist name is Channel 11 if you want to check my music out! Links to Spotify etc. may be found here.)
I am highly intuitive and I use my connection to the other side to support people with energy healings and psychic readings through The Prism Works.
I love travelling and divide most of my time between Ireland, London and Portugal.

This course is specifically based on Squarespace 7.1 and while some of what is taught regarding design and UX principles can be implemented on other web building systems, it is advisable to invest in this course unless you are planning on using Squarespace for your own business or client projects.

Squarespace offers a secure hosting and content management system,, as well as seamless marketing, ecommerce and business management integrations. It offers an intuitive interface that is very easy to manage independently, saving you or your clients costs on having a web developer make regular updates to the site.

Squarespace have developed their platform to become increasingly novice-friendly but there is still usually an evident difference between a Squarespace website created by a novice and one created by a professional. While there are lots of free resources and video tutorials out there, this course offers you a step-by-step guide, allowing you learn in a time-efficient manner and covering areas that you may not even consider.
Taught by Elizabeth, who has been building websites from the ground up since 2007 and focusing on Squarespace since 2011, you will learn from an expert and be given the guidance to help you create a website with professional polish but without the professional cost.

Of course, you will respond to any queries you have regarding Squarespace or the course materials. We are also open to suggestions if there are any specific topics you would like added to the modules or covered in a Facebook Live.
As a Square Aced student, you will be invited to our exclusive Facebook group, where Elizabeth will host regular Q&A sessions to address any design questions you may have. The group will also give you access to a community to exchange feedback and design tips with other members.
Square Aced members will also have the opportunity to book 1:1 sessions with Elizabeth over Zoom for an extra cost. These sessions will range from a one-hour consultation for you to receive constructive feedback on your website project to working with Elizabeth for a day over Zoom, should you wish to avail of her expertise to refine your website.
